On Sunday, April 25th, 2010 New England United States Pageants, under the directorship of Irene Raissis Alton held their 2010 State Pageant where 2 Queens would be crowned that would go on to represent their states in July at the Mrs. United States Pageant! As a first time Director, I wanted only the BEST for all the ladies who participated and that is why I surrounded myself with the best partners, sponsors, judges and support staff I know. Together, we had an AMAZING State Pageant where we paid tribute to our 2 wonderful 2009 queens, Mrs. Massachusetts United States, Wendy Ann Jack and Mrs. New Hampshire United States, Irene Raissis Alton and cheered on the 2010 winners..... Mrs. Massachusetts United States, Jennifer Korzeb and Mrs. New Hampshire United States, Rachael Bohac! In am so proud of everyone, thankful for having everything work so smoothly and so excited for Nationals in July!! Vegas, here we come! As a First Time Director, here I am with my First 2 State Queens! I am so proud of them both and look forward to the year ahead!! Veterans Count Dinner Auction

In the coming 18 months, New Hampshire's largest number of service members, estimated at approximate 1,800 are slated to deploy to the Middle East. In a show of support Easter Seals of New Hampshire and Souhegan Valley Chamber of Commerce along with Salon Aquavit held their 3rd Annual Veterans Count fundraiser and auction. Over $15,000 was raised that night- fantastic!
